Where is Heaven?
In the movies when somebody dies, assuming that he is a good person, we see him going to heaven somewhere mostly over the clouds. Similar movies show heaven as beautiful meadows with gorgeous flowers, trees, animals and lakes. Depending on religious sources and predominantly movie director’s imagination, we watch people who passed away in many other forms of glamorous luminescent and white scenes in heaven. Apart from what a perfect place it is, we have no idea where it might be. Even though we are told about the glamorous of Heaven neither Islamic nor Christian sources tell us much about the location of God’s magnificent creation to host His righteous people forever. In this article, even though the answer is not so simple, largely based on Islamic and Christian resources by reminding that only God the Almighty knows the truth, we will try to reason where heaven might be.
Said Nursi talks about two Hells, the Smaller one and the Bigger one. The smaller Hell is inside underneath the earth’s crust at the center of the globe, known as the “core”. We know from geological findings that as we head toward the center of the Earth, the temperature increases immensely.
